Build a useful first pass
Start With The Whole Home, Then Refine Your Search
A rigid first search can hide a better-fit home. Begin with the required location, budget and property type, then review pool homes across a practical range before adding garage, bedroom or neighborhood constraints. Listing remarks and photos sometimes reveal combinations that a single checkbox does not capture consistently.
Save the homes that meet the use plan, not merely the photos that create the strongest first impression. For each candidate, record the pool type, surface clues, shade, privacy, equipment, garage, side access and any document question. Patterns in the saved list will show which tradeoffs are actually acceptable.
Before narrowing every filter, work through search setup and Saved Searches to keep house requirements, pool use and garage needs in the same brief.
